Due to popular demand, we divided our "Cupping with Royal" class into two different cupping workshops.
This workshop is a free, 2 hour introduction to cupping. This class is ideal for people who have never cupped before, or have maybe been to a coffee tasting or two and want to try a wider range of different coffees or to understand cupping protocol more in depth.
This workshop will cover how region and processing affects the resulting cup, and the importance of proper cupping protocol. We will then cup 6 coffees of different regions and processes.
Students will walk away with a deeper understanding of how to taste and evaluate coffee and how to set up a coffee cupping to the industry standard. Space is limited to a smaller group so there will be plenty of time for discussion on any coffee topics at the end of the workshop.
